Immersive yoga and writing workshop with the ROOT Method

Balance on Paper combines yoga and guided writing to help you create a vision that feels true, sustainable, and yours.

A pause. A reset. A conscious beginning.

Through gentle yoga, mindful breathing, and guided writing, you’ll create space to listen inward — away from noise, pressure, and expectations. This is not about resolutions you have to keep. It’s about intentions you want to live.

  • Move your body to release the old

You’ll leave with your intentions written down — not as a to-do list, but as a compass to return to throughout whenever you want.

Writing: Turning Insight into Intention

The writing part is guided and accessible to everyone, no experience needed.

You’ll use writing as a tool to listen inward, gain clarity, and give words to what truly matters to you.

Through the ROOT Method, writing supports you to:

By writing your intentions down, you don’t create a to-do list — you create a compass you can return to throughout whenever you want to.

Language for the writing practice: Writing prompts in English, you can write in English or your first language

Yoga: Grounding the Body, Creating Space

The yoga practice helps you slow down and reconnect with your body after a busy year.

Through gentle movement, breath, and mindful pauses, you’ll:

  • Release tension and mental noise
  • Create space for clarity and focus
  • Feel grounded, stable, and present
  • Prepare your body and nervous system for reflection

Yoga becomes the physical foundation helping you let go of what no longer serves you and root yourself in the present moment.

Optional: For the yoga practice, it is also possible to use hammocks for aerial yoga, offering extra support, lightness, and a playful sense of freedom.

Language for the yoga practice: English or German (depending on the group).
