A workshop that turns writing into a sensory experience
In a world of constant digital stimulation, this workshop invites participants to rediscover writing as an analogue ritual — a space where creativity can flow naturally.
Handwriting, collage and paper craft come together to create a unique, tactile experience. Texts emerge not only from words, but from fragments, layers and unexpected encounters. Fragments become stories; paper becomes a space for imagining new worlds.
What the workshop explores
Dream Writing
Making inner images and thought worlds visible, inspired by dreams, associations and the magic of paper.
Collage Writing
Creating texts from found words, images and paper fragments. Experimenting with negative space, sequence and layering.
Creative Freedom
No perfection, only expression. Writing prompts, journaling techniques and short-form storytelling — without pressure or expectations.
The Tactile Experience
Paper Republic products become an organic part of the creative process, inviting participants to explore how notebooks and different types of paper can enhance and shape their creativity.
Why this workshop?
Because it creates space for me-time, slowing down and mental detox — and transforms writing into a conscious, embodied practice.
Because participants become part of a community that comes back regularly to write together, exchange ideas and grow.
And because they discover how rituals, structure and creative flow can unlock new ways of thinking and creating.
Who is this workshop for?
For anyone who loves writing — whether as journaling, a creative exercise or short-form storytelling.
For aesthetically minded people who appreciate the tactile quality of paper.
And for curious minds looking to discover new ways of expressing themselves.
Takeaway
Participants leave with a personally designed notebook filled with their own texts and collages, as well as new impulses for creative writing — both in everyday life and beyond.
Most importantly, they discover that writing can be a ritual: free, intuitive and enriching.
The experience
An afternoon of inspiration, high-quality materials and a community of people who share a passion for paper and words.
“Writing is not a destination, but a journey. This is where yours begins.”
My work exists at the intersection of analogue tactility and digital innovation.
In my writing workshops, I transform journaling into a ritual of digital detox — a tool for grounding, reflection and mindfulness.
With one foot in analogue writing culture and the other in the digital world, I help people find and develop their own voice — whether on the page or online.
My approach is thoughtful, experimental and always guided by one central question:
Collage Dream Writing – 5th March 2026 (3-6 pm)
Paper Republic, La Maison, 1010 Wien
Moderation and writing prompts in English and German (depending on the group)
Writing Language: you can choose in which language you will write.
